BIOGRAPHY
Carolyn Erbele – Biographical Sketch
I began piano lessons at age six and enjoyed singing in and accompanying for school choruses all the way through high school. I also studied pipe organ. All these wonderful experiences led me to pursue music in college. I worked as a church musician since age seventeen and have been teaching piano for more than twenty years.
I had the privilege of studying as an adult with three extraordinary piano teachers:
• Bernard Abramowitsch at Mills College in Oakland
• Aiko Onishi at San Jose State University
• Ralph Berkowitz, former Dean of Tanglewood |
